Introduction

Due to the rise in rebel activity in the region, the government is running low on rare materials. They have decided to publicly release their closely guarded secret list of ingredients to make Rare Alloy. They are asking for help in getting their stockpile back up and are willing to allow citizens to obtain Workers Protection License to better protect these rare resources and receive a nice boost in profits. This run is not for a beginner player. You will have to collect and process each ingredient: Iron, Platinum, and Copper.

Starting The Run

Before you begin, it is a good idea to check the market value of Rare Alloy using the market tab on your “Y” menu to make sure nobody has sold Rare Alloy recently to maximize your profits. It is also recommended to stop by the DMV and purchase a “Platinum, Iron, Copper, and Rare Alloy processing license” as it is a prerequisite for processing each material for sale. It is also necessary to take a pickaxe, which can be purchased at any market or gas station, as well as 3 items of food and water to sustain yourself for the duration of the run.

Processing

Unfortunately, Rare Alloy isn’t so easily obtained and is surrounded by high-traffic routes. Each ingredient alone is a high-demand resource to many citizens. A good starting point is the garage in DP 8 just south of Kavala. The fastest route would be Platinum, Copper, then Iron. Each ingredient will have to be individually gathered and processed before you can convert them into a rare alloy. You can process each ingot via the scroll wheel option on the main processor device inside the processing building. You may also choose to process an entire vehicle full of raw materials into processed items. Players can select to process from a selected vehicle but multiple players may not process from the same vehicle. The time taken to process the inventory of the vehicle will be displayed and canceling processing will process all items up until the point of cancellation. Buffs gained from the Workers Protection License will also apply to the rate at which the vehicle is processed as well.

Selling

After you have processed everything you will depart northwest towards the Rare Metals Trader just north of DP 2. Park close to the building that houses the trader as you will be very vulnerable while selling and, if killed, will drop all cash obtained on the ground for other players to take. When interacting with the trader you may also double click the ingots in your inventory to select the total amount that you are carrying for faster selling. Once you have traded all of your ingots for cash, quickly travel to the nearest ATM located just south in DP 2.

Payout

Rare Alloy at the market cap sells for $11,326. Using only a box truck with max storage (360) can hold 60 ingots (3 weight per ingot) which will yield a payout of $799,500. With a Workers Protection License, you will get a 15% boost in sell price which comes out to $919,425.

Run Time

Using a box truck with tier-4 turbo and max storage upgrades (360), this run will take approximately 38 minutes and 25 seconds. This is with no crashes, players trying to rob you, and sticking with the MSR which is faster but yields a higher chance of being robbed.
