Introduction
Rare Alloy can be produced using Iron,Platinum, and Copper ingots. It is one of the more high risk legal runs to do but it does come with a high reward. Players who purchase a Workers Protection License will be able to be better equipped with weapons and have an increased profit when selling.
Starting The Run
Before starting this run, it is strongly recommended to check the price of Rare Alloy for optimal profits and to follow the list below to make sure you have all the required equipment:
- Food & Water
- Bergen Backpack for space
- A vehicle to store the raw materials
- Copper processing license ($8,000 at the DMV)
- Platinum processing license ($10,000 at the DMV)
- Iron processing license ($9,500 at the DMV)
- Rare Alloy processing license ($35,000 at the DMV)
- You will next have to go to Copper, Platinum, and Iron Mine to gather the necessary resources. (Recommended to get a third of each resource)
Processing
- Head to each processor to refine your goods into ingots.
- After each resource has been refined to its appropriate ingots, you must then head over to the Rare Alloy Foundry to refine your ingots.
- To process, scroll wheel on the processing machinery inside the building, you can either process from the vehicle or from your backpack and must remain 25m of the machine.
- Before pressing Process, it will give you the time required to process. Canceling processing will process items up to the progress you obtained.
Selling
- After finishing processing take your vehicle to the Rare Metals Trader directly northwest of the Rare Alloy Foundry.
- Scroll wheel on the trader to sell your rare alloy ingots on your person, you will need to manually remove the ingots from the vehicle to sell.
- When finished selling go to any ATM the closest being in DP2 south of the trader to store the money via scroll wheel or left windows key on the ATM.
Payout
Rare Alloy at the market cap sells for $11,326. Using only a box truck with max storage (360) can hold 60 ingots (3 weight per ingot) which will yield a payout of $645,600. With a Workers Protection License, you will get a 15% boost in sell price which comes out to $742,440.
Run Time
Using a box truck with tier-4 turbo and max storage upgrades (360), this run will take approximately 38 minutes and 25 seconds. This is with no crashes, players trying to rob you, and sticking with the MSR which is faster but yields a higher chance of being robbed.
