This is an example of where you would buy a boat on the map, in this case we’ll be fishing in Neochori.

Introduction

One of the many legal runs that you can do on the island of Altis is fishing. It is one of the first recommended runs for newer players as its payout is viable enough for small operations that can be increased with possession of a Worker's Protection License. It is also one of the safest runs due to it being located in the water. This run shouldn’t be your go to run as the payout is minimal but a great start for those trying to begin on the server and want a safe money maker.

Starting the Run

Before you begin, it is a good idea to check the market value of fish using the market tab on your “Y” menu to make sure nobody has sold fish recently to maximize your profits. It is also recommended to stop by the DMV and purchase a “boating license” as it is necessary to have a boat. It is also recommended to take 3 items of food and water to sustain yourself for the duration of the run. You will want to begin this venture by purchasing a boat. In this example we will be starting in Neochori, once you're in Neochori head to the boat shop on the pier to the south east of town. Buying a RHIB is a good starting choice of boat since it only costs $15,000 and has a good amount of virtual storage. Now to start the run, hop into your boat and drive about a kilometer out into the ocean to avoid other players that may want to rob you, though this is not required as fish can spawn just about anywhere in the water. If you have your Ambient Life enabled in your “Y” menu you can even see the fish. The best way to do this run is after driving out into the ocean simply select the “Drop Fishing Net” scroll wheel option. You will have to be stopped to have this option show up. Once this is done you’ll see some text pop up saying “Dropping Fishing Net…”, at this point you will either catch some fish or get the “Didn’t catch anything…” text box. After this you will then have to move 15 meters from where you casted your net and recast your net again. Repeat this process until your boat and inventory is full.

Selling

After you have filled up your boat and inventory with fish you’ll then want to head to the “Fish Market” to sell all your fish, these can be found in Pyrgos, Neochori, Therisa, Kavala, and Sofia. After selling them you’ll want to head directly to an ATM to store your money away.

Run Time

Using a RHIB with no storage upgrades, carryall backpack, and Tier-4 turbo this run will take about 35-45 minutes depending on how lucky you get with each cast of your net.

Payout

Using a RHIB with no storage upgrades and a carryall backpack you can expect a payout of about 30k depending on what type of fish you were able to catch since some fish are worth more than others.
