Delivery Missions
Noahhh!
What are DP Missions?
DP missions, or delivery point missions, are a set of legal assignments that can be done while playing on the civilian faction. Delivery missions are divided into 3 different categories: Regular, Plane, and Material. These missions involve interacting with NPCs located in different areas of Altis and “delivering” packages wherever they are due. These delivery points are completely randomized but will stay within the areas of Altis labeled with “DP” markers (Example: DP 1 = Kavala).
How do DP missions work?
To start a DP mission, pick a location from which to start. This can be done by finding any “DP marker on the map and heading to the NPC that corresponds with it. Upon arriving, scroll wheel on the NPC and select “Get Delivery Mission to get a delivery assignment. Once this is toggled, a notification will appear on-screen displaying the delivery location.
If you forget your drop-off point:
- Press “M” to open the map.
- Select the "Tasks" tab.
Once the location is known, use a preferred method of transportation to get to the assigned location. Upon arriving at the delivery location, scroll wheel on the appropriate NPC and select “Deliver Package”. You will then receive the payment in cash on your person. This cash will need to be stored in an Banking manually to secure the payout for your hard work. To continue doing these missions, repeating the process at the nearest DP NPC will toggle a new mission.
Material Delivery Missions
What are Material Delivery Missions
- Material Delivery missions, also known as Material Delivery contracts, are a series of legal tasks available to players on the civilian faction. These missions require players to interact with legal processing NPCs found in various locations across Altis and to "deliver" the legal materials to a designated spot. The delivery locations are randomly assigned but will always be within a 5 km radius.
How Does It Work?
- Interact with any legal processing NPC to begin a Material Delivery Mission. The contract remains during soft-log and lasts for 20 minutes. Depending on how far away the processor is, players can receive up to an extra 10% bonus for selling to the specified DP NPC. Although this bonus can be paired with other bonuses, like WPL, the overall bonus cannot be greater than 20%. Depending on the processor used to start the contract, players may sell up to 600 of the designated item. For instance, whereas the diamond processor will ask for diamonds, the sand processor will ask for glass. The position of the DP NPC and the amount of time left will be indicated by a flashing red/gray marker on the player's map. Restarting the contract is not possible unless it expires.
Plane Delivery Missions
Plane Delivery Missions are a set of legal runs that can be done while playing on the civilian faction. These missions involve interacting with NPCs located on different airfields across Altis “delivering” packages wherever they are due. These delivery points are completely randomized but will be marked in green. Each mission will cost an initial 60k that will be given back after drop-off and will give you a random destination. The payout is not affected by distance traveled. You will receive a minimum of $100k and a maximum of $125K (not including your initial $60k payment). A Worker's Protection License will also give you +15% bonus on profits.
To start a plane delivery mission, pick an airfield from which to start. You will need a Caesar BTT(300k). Pull your new plane and taxi to the “Plane Delivery” NPC marker. Make sure your plane is within 10 meters of the NPC to load the cargo, then hop out of your plane and scroll wheel to start the mission. You will receive a notification locating your destination and your map will mark the target airfield’s delivery NPC green.
If you forget your drop-off point:
- Press “M” to open the map.
- Select the "Tasks" tab.
Now, fly to your destination and taxi to the delivery NPC marked on your map. Hop out of your plane and scroll wheel on the NPC to drop off cargo. From here you can store your plane or load more cargo for another run. It’s important to note that you receive payment in cash and you won’t be able to access ATMs for 3 minutes.
Job Payout
The payment for these missions is calculated by distance. If you drop off the package, you'll receive $7.50 for every meter between your starting point and drop-off point.
For example, the distance between Kavala DP 1 and Sofia DP 16 is approximately 23.30 kilometers. Multiply $7.50 by 23,300 meters, which equals $174,750. This is roughly the money you'll receive when you finish the mission.
Additionally, owning a Worker's Protection License will grant owners a 15% profit bonus upon delivery. (Ex: $174,750 + 15% bonus = $200,963)
Hours | $ Per km | Percentage | WPL% | WPL $ per km |
---|---|---|---|---|
< 50 | $7,500 | 100% | 115% | $8,625 |
≥ 50 | $6,000 | 80% | 92% | $6,900 |
≥ 75 | $4,500 | 60% | 69% nice | $5,175 |
≥ 100 | $3,000 | 40% | 46% | $3,450 |
Players will receive a $100,000 bonus upon completion of 10 DP missions.
- Only regular and plane DP missions contribute towards this total.
