About

Vigilantes are individuals who have made the decision to take enforcement of the law into their own hands, otherwise known as “bounty hunters.” Vigilantes are separate from law enforcement, with fewer restrictions and rules, however, less firepower compared to the Altis Police Department. “Vigilantes are no exception to the law. They must follow rules regarding RDM, VDM, etc.” If you play intelligently, you can be just as successful as any other faction. Before purchasing your license you will also need to have at least 2 hours played on Olympus.

While a vigilante, you may store your tiers for later use or to become a rebel for a while. You can store your tiers at any vigilante outpost NPC, though this will cost you $400,000 for each tier. When you store a tier you don’t lose your license until you purchase another license like Rebel training. However, it will set your tier back to 0 for the time being. With this, you will be unable to buy the gear you had access to prior to storing the tiers.

Take note: If you arrest anyone after you’ve stored your arrests, those arrests will be gone once you claim your arrests back since it will set your total arrests to the exact number as when you stored them.

Rules Regarding Vigilantes

Please be sure to read and understand all of the vigilante rules before taking off on your journey. The rules can be located at any vigilante outpost, as well as the forums located in Altis Life Rules

Purchasing the Vigilante License

To purchase a Vigilante License, you will need to go to a vigilante outpost located near big cities. The license itself costs $60,000 or $120,000 if you already have rebel’s training, but will give you access to an array of weapons and clothing unlocked by tiers gained by arrests(reference chart below). All weapons, clothing, and virtual inventory can be purchased at any vigilante outpost with the ability to save specific loadouts to 3 different slots. When you first purchase the license, you will also have a notification displaying the specific rules, buffs, and gear that come along with being a license holder.

If you wish to "store" your vigilante tiers, go to a vigilante outpost, access the NPO, and store each vigilante tier for $400,000.

Vigilante Spawn Point License

Tier 3+ Vigilante is required to purchase a spawn point license for that specific outpost. You may have a total of 5 of these licenses at a cost of 500 renown points per license.

An active Vigilante license is required to use the outpost spawns. They will be disabled but not removed when your Vigilante license is stored

Vigilante Renown Points

Additionally, you will receive Vigilante Renown points based on the value of the criminals you arrest. You can start gaining Renown points after 50 cumulative arrests are achieved, you’ll be able to acquire 10 renown points for each $200k in criminal charges. The suspect has to be geared in order to receive any renown points on the arrest.

Ex: T3 Vest and TRG+

Arresting a criminal with a bounty of less than $100k and has little to no gear will result in the loss of Renown Points.
