Staff Team
Olympus Staff Team
The Olympus staff team is a group of volunteers who contribute and manage several different aspects of operations for Olympus Entertainment. There are four main departments to the staff team which are design, development, wiki, and administration.
Olympus Design Department (Texture and Map Design):
The Olympus design department is composed of both texture and map designers who each work to contribute to add varied items to the game. The positions on the team are divided into different ranks as listed below and are synonymous regardless if they are texture or map designers.
Requirements for Applicants:
- Must be proficient at designing software such as Photoshop or any other program in that field
- Must have creativity (submitting a red vehicle is not creativity)
- Must be able to complete monthly tasks assigned to them and worthy of being implemented into the server
- Ability to help others and peer review other Designer’s work.
Design Contributor
- Introductory role to the team so that new members can get acclimated to the workflow and develop and display their skills in their respective areas.
- Is not a staff position and has no staff perks
Designer - Texture
- Considered Olympus staff and are held to a higher standard and expected to act professionally and fulfill their responsibilities pertaining to their role.
- Introduce new ideas for textures to be added into the game and produces them to the requested specifications
- Creates Gang Uniform and Vehicle textures purchased through the Olympus Store to the customer’s specifications
- Peer reviews other members work and offers feedback
Designer - Map Design
- Considered Olympus staff and are held to a higher standard and expected to act professionally and fulfill their responsibilities pertaining to their role.
- Introduce new ideas for map design for specific areas of the game to improve and balance gameplay and accommodate events or features added by the development team
- Peer reviews other members work and offers feedback
Senior Designers
- All of the above duties
- Manages the workflow for designers and assigns projects
- Quality checks work produced and offers feedback
- Assists with minor issues and offers help wherever needed
Lead Designers
- Competent individuals in their respective design fields
- Coordinate the efforts of the design team to produce quality content
- Works with developers to produce the workload based on what is needed or what can be added in future updates
Olympus Wiki Curation Department
The Olympus Wiki is a project that seeks to disseminate and facilitate easy access to information on all departments, factions, features, locations, and items that can be found in Olympus’ Altis Life. The goal is to create an easily accessible resource for new and current players of the gamemode and greater Olympus community.
Wiki Contributor
- Produces ideas for new pages and content
- Submits rough drafts of pages for peer and senior review
- Collects information and visual aides for the Wiki
Wiki Curator
- All of the above duties
- Uploads and creates pages on the wiki from approved rough drafts
- Ensures all pages conform to a uniform format
- Fixes or corrects typos, incorrect data, and incorrectly formatted visual aides
Senior Wiki Curator
- All of the above duties
- Delegates workflow for wiki curators
- Quality checks all work produced by the wiki team
- Approves rough drafts of pages and ideas for new content
- Coordinates with other departments to ensure all information on the wiki is factual
- Offers feedback on content produced
- Produces workflow and creates requests for pages on the wiki
Olympus Development Department:
The Olympus Development team is composed of individuals who are well versed enough in SQF (ArmA 3’s coding language) to produce new content for the server, debug existing content, and optimize the gamemode. The positions in the team are divided into different ranks based on skill and tenure.
Developer Contributor
- Introductory role to the team so that new members can get acclimated to the workflow and develop and display their skills in SQF.
- Is not a staff position and has no staff perks
Developer
- Considered Olympus staff and are held to a higher standard and expected to act professionally and fulfill their responsibilities pertaining to their role.
- Creates new game features and mechanics as they are introduced via Civilian Council and Staff Roundtables depending on feasibility
- Optimizes existing in-game features and mechanics to fix reported bugs and run smoothly in-game
- Implements new textures in the game created by the Design Department.
Senior Developer
- All of the above duties
- Quality checks work produced and offers feedback to peers
- Develops more complicated and sophisticated code for in-game mechanics
- Manages database connections and fixes bugged entries where applicable
Lead Developer
- Manages workflow for developers and delegates projects
- Quality checks all work produced and assists wherever needed
- Coordinates the efforts of the development team to produce quality content
Olympus Administration Department:
The Olympus Administrative Department is composed of individuals who have distinguished themselves in the community and have been authorized to facilitate disciplinary action against individuals who have broken server rules or community guidelines and have had a player report filed against them, provide oversight to other departments, offer donation support, and more.
Moderator

Senior Administrator/Head Administrator+
- All the above duties.
- Answering questions for other Moderators and Admins as needed.
- Training for new staff members, Moderator 1 and Moderator 2, and Admin.
- Promotion and demotion of Staff Members.
- Removal of staff members.
- Manage Administrative Team
- Ensuring quality of Staff work
