"R&R is a unique opportunity for players of all backgrounds and interests to experience Altis Life from the perspective of a neutral in-game entity. The faction provides all of the building blocks for a great role-play experience in a small team-driven sub-community on Olympus."

R&R Information

R&R Overview

What is the R&R?

Simply put, Rescue and Recovery is a department of medics. The R&R faction is the anomaly in the cops-versus-robbers game mode that is Altis Life. When a civilian dies on the island, they're able to request to be revived. When a medic revives the player, the medic will receive $15,000 from the player's bank account. For revives performed in WarZone and at rebels, medics will receive a $2,500 bonus due to the danger associated in these areas.

When a player is revived by a medic, the player will not have a dopamine timer.

There are 14 medic slots on each of the Olympus servers.

R&R personnel who get revives in between delivery missions will receive a bonus.

Joining the R&R

The R&R is a whitelisted faction that players can join once they meet a certain number of requirements. Those requirements are as follows:

  • Applicants must have at least 1680 minutes (28 hours) of playtime as a civilian.
  • Applicants must not have a ban within two weeks prior to their application.
  • Applicants must know and understand the rules needed to play the role.

If a player meets those requirements, he or she can apply to join the R&R. Applications can be submitted through the support area of the forums.

  1. Click "support" in the bar at the top of the website.
  2. Click "new request".
  3. Open the department drop-down menu and click "R&R Application".
  4. Complete and submit the application.

  • R&R Destroyed Building Repair

R&R personnel have the ability to repair destroyed buildings upon the owner's request. The request has to come from the owner in order for repairs to be made. Medics will be paid $50,000 upon completion of repairs.

    R&R Delivery Missions

R&R personnel has the ability to do delivery missions by going to any hospital and finding the option by going up to one of the two personnel standing at the front desk or just standing next to each other at any hospital and scroll wheeling on them to see the option to do a delivery mission. This also works at any APD HQ. Each delivery pays $5,000 per 1 kilometer so for example, Kavala hospital to Neochori hospital is 7.5 kilometers which would payout $37,500. Completing the delivery mission works the same way as obtaining the delivery mission.
